This Library is only open to Muscat Mums Paid Members.

Members who wish to join the Book Library pay a 5 OR refundable deposit. 6 children books, 2 pregnancy/parenting books, 2 adult novels and 1CD/DVD can be borrowed each month completely free of charge. We have also recently introduced a new puzzles library as part of the Book Library. To rent a puzzle you will need to pay a 2 OR refundable deposit which is returned when you return the puzzle back with all its pieces and a small rental fee of 100 baisa per puzzle. 

The book library is held once a month at the coordinator's home. The library session starts off with story time followed by a couple of songs after which parents are free to browse the library while their little ones play. Parents whose children are not able to attend are more than welcome to drop in during the session to browse and borrow some books. There are more than 200 children's books to suit all age groups from "touch and feel" to "early reader" to the classics. There is also an entire section dedicated to parenting that contains more than 50 books on topics such as how to get your baby to sleep through the night, potty training or the ever popular guides to pregnancy. 

Books can be returned at the next book library or if more convenient anytime during the working week (no appointment necessary) to the coordinators home.
